I have just read about a new brand of chocolate that is supposed to be good for you! Choxi+ was created by chocolatiers ‘Prestat’ and apparently contains more flavanol antioxidants that any other type of food including fruit and veg. This helps maintain healthy blood pressure and cholesterol levels and Prestat recommend eating 10g every day - sounds good to me!

The larger bars (70g/75g) can be bought in large Tesco Stores around the UK and you can also currently purchase them in specific stores in London including Selfridges in Oxford Street. A new Choxi+ Dark Chocolate 20g Mini Bar and Milk Chocolate 25g Mini Bar will be available from July.

If you have a taste for vodka and a love for Smirnoff you might be interested to know about a new vodka called Effen vodka, a vodka that has a premium, smooth and clean taste.

The Effen vodka is created from a 120 year-old recipe that includes premium wheat and pure spring water which succeeds in contributing a sparkling taste to both cocktails and mixers.

We all know how tedious supermarket shopping can be. Stocking up on toilet roll and bread is never going to be a thrill-fest but happily there are certain aisles that can bring a smile to our face. This new naughty treat is described as “vanilla ice cream” (yum) “with marshmallow swirls” (yummier) “and white chocolatey polar bears” (yummiest!) Interesting and unique Viktor and Rolf have designed a new creation. The creation in question is a bottle of champagne upside down.

The Dutch duo renowned for their fashion designs can turn their hands at anything and have recently followed Stella McCartney and Karl Lagerfeld by designing a collection for Swedish brand H&M. The sophisticated and iconic object that is a champagne bottle has been reinterpreted and then made into a fantastic form of art.

Today marks the start of a long weekend as Easter is upon us. For some this signifies a time of religious observance, while for others it is simply a break from work and a chance to scoff chocolate. She’s been away from our TV screens for six years, but tonight Delia Smith returns with her new cookery show simply titled Delia (BBC2, 8.30pm.) Famed for teaching the nation the basics of cookery, Delia Smith takes our education to the next level by teaching us how to cheat by knocking up dishes using pre-prepared ingredients. This does sound a little similar to fellow BBC2 chef Nigella Lawson’s last TV outing, Nigella Express, but where Nigella is all vivid sauciness, Delia is straight-forward and practical.

After one too many glasses of Blossom Hill, White Zinfandel rosé, I have been forever hunting for a new reasonably priced alcoholic beverage that tastes as good as it looks.

Persistently searching through the shelves in the supermarket I found a pack of four small, stylishly packaged bottles of wine spritzers. So perfect, as I love rosé and this is a Thai wine with pomegranate juice mixed together to create a ruby refreshing and exotic flavour. There is another flavour to try as well, however I have yet to sample it. It’s the same Thai wine but mixed with hibiscus, a flower that hosts a red fruit that’s full of mystery. I must admit the Sabai pomegranate wine spritzer is both exotic and refreshing and it’s only £4.99 for four bottles in Tesco stores at the moment.
