I bought tickets to see the Sound of Music for Saturday 18th October 2008 (at the London Palladium) for me and my sister, but then stupidly booked a holiday and forgot about the tickets! I therefore now have 2 tickets available for the 7.30pm performance if anybody is interested.
The tickets are for stalls seats D19 and D20 and they cost £55 each, we will consider offers of £45 and over per ticket. I will be placing them on ebay on Monday if nobody has contacted me by then so get in quick if you want them! I can accept cheque or Paypal and the tickets will be delivered as soon as payment has been received.
If you would like to get in touch please leave a comment or email info@thenewpink.co.uk.

ZPM’s website claims that the company’s philosophy is “to make products that are practical, stylish and absolutely built to last”, and taking a look at the wide range of items they offer The New Pink is impressed. The company has been enjoying a fair bit of press of late and they seem to marking out a niche for themselves as the most quirky label in bags of all types.
Their range is vast, encompassing everything from laundry bags to travel bags, from make-up bags to jewellery rolls and each one is highly detailed, pretty and stylish. We love this large fifties tea bobble clasp purse selling for £65 which features inner compartments to keep your mobile phone safe, a waterproof one for your make-up and even a matching make-up mirror.
To snatch up this bag or one of the many other beautiful ones from ZPM visit the site here.

Whilst on my hunt for rather interesting and unique birthday presents I came across a few on the Paul Smith website.
Click under the gifts section and you can find lots of surprises, ranging from a Paul Smith Leather Football priced at £169 to a Paul Smith Ceramic Rabbit priced at £38. Quite random I know but my friend has a dog so I went with the Paul Smith Dog Lead that cost £60. There is also a matching Paul Smith Dog Collar at £39 but out of both I thought the lead was more practical.
Visit Paul Smith online and shop under gifts to see if you can find anything that takes your fancy.

For those of you that like to give more unusual gifts, take a peek at some of the Easter treats that online shopping Gods Amazon are offering. No chocolate eggs here, rather they offer a variety of patterned rubber ducks and some cute Peter Rabbit goodies. Of course, these might sound a bit too random and kooky to hand over to your grandparents, but the ducks which come in a variety of colours and themes (choose from horror, gothic, gun, lush, pop and others) have bagged the gift of the year award and have been showcased on TV shows such as Big Brother and Emmerdale.
Peter Rabbit gifts include flower pots, tote bags, toys and jigsaws and are a nice spin on a traditional favourite. To scan these and a whole host of other unconventional Easter gifts, head on over to Amazon.co.uk and if you do give one such treat to your loved ones this Sunday – remember to say where you got the idea from!

There’s still plenty of time until Easter, but here at The New Pink our bellies are rumbling at the prospect of so much yummy chocolate. Last week we brought you some of the tasty treats being offered by high street chain Hotel Chocolat and now we turn our attention to Thorntons. Like all good chocolatiers they offer a mouth-watering range of cocoa delights, but for those with a designer bent comes the Henry Holland egg.
The designer has produced a special egg complete with his personal motto and family coat-of-arms to be auctioned off on eBay. Other celebrities including David Beckham’s tattooist, Louis Molly, have also been whipping up their own contributions, with all proceeds being donated to Barnado’s. For info on this and all Thorntons offers, head on over to the official site.

Easter seems to be creeping on us rather speedily this year, and so to get us in the mood here’s a look at some of the Easter treats on offer at the rather delicious Hotel Chocolat. It seems that the swanky high-street chain has been feeling adventurous with this year’s selection including unconventional fare such as cocoa pod eggs and egg sandwiches (they really have to be seen to be believed).
For those chocolate lovers less keen on experimenting, the store also offers eggs that are both extra think and extra big – depending on your choccie needs. So when it comes to shopping for that chocoholic in your life (or just yourself if the mood and pennies allow), why not visit your nearest Hotel Chocolat or lust after the pics on their website? Warning: Might cause uncontrollable drooling.

Having bought my mum’s Mother’s Day card yesterday, I am all too aware of the shopping frenzy this day creates with people scrambling to purchase that perfect card that expresses the special love their share for their mum. To celebrate this one day of the year where mums can put their feet up and have a well deserved break, card manufacturer Hallmark has teamed up with breast cancer charities to produce a range of special cards.
These cards are part of the ‘Cards for a Cure’ campaign and are branded with the famous Pink Ribbon logo. Hallmark will donate £1/4million to these worthwhile causes for the second year running and have also produced a gifts range that features Forever Friends teddy bears. So, as you give that special card or gift to your mum, you are also helping contribute to the fight against this devastating disease. To learn more about Hallmark and the good work they are doing, click on over to the official site.

Once again Mothers Day has come round again and once again I’m stuck on what to get my mother. Living away from home does not make it any easier when trying to give a gift of love so I’ve copped out and let myself head to the flower delivery websites.
After a good look around, Interflora happen to have a pretty selection of Mother’s Day gifts and flowers which can be sent right to the door. Ranging from around £23 to £65 there is a gift for many price barriers. I love the Tulip Splash Jug, at £24.99 it won’t break the bank, provides a lot of colour and is pretty on the eye.
Check out Interflora online to see what your mum would like this Mothers Day, remember its only just over a week away.

Shopping for underwear is always a lot of fun. I am a massive Victoria’s Secret fan so when I visited the states I stocked up on some of the funky printed low rise hipster knickers they stock but now I’m going Juicy mad.
The cute set of three multicoloured boy short style knickers are comfortable and stylish, a great new addition to the underwear drawer. Each boy short comes packaged as a cupcake, with a ‘fun logo’ on both the front and backs of the pants and have a logo embossed elasticated waistband.
Get your self some comfy couture at Net-A-Porter costing £43 for the set of three pants.

Thankfully, the winter months are slowly leaving us but it’s still freezing and Britain’s weather is rarely pleasant so investing in an overdue bath robe is on the cards for me.
Juicy Couture has a fabulous baby pink hooded velour robe at the moment available at Net-A-Porter. The warm cosy tiered designed gown has a gold embroidered crest on the front, cotton lining and ties round the waist in to a lovely bow. The famous brand can do no wrong at the moment and have just launched a fabulous new fragrance. Even if its not for you it would make a great gift!
Invest in the winter warming, Juicy Couture Pink Hooded Velour Gown at Net-A-Porter priced at £122.

Visiting a friend’s house the other day led me to question the gorgeous aroma I could smell. The overpowering scent of nectarine infused her rooms so I had to ask where I could get my hands on something so strong.
She told me she got some Jo Malone candles which were £38 each but so worth every penny. They had lasted her quite a long time and she loves the fact that everyone who has entered her house has commented on them. With that I got myself one from the website. I bought the Nectarine Blossom & Honey candle but there are so many more scents to choose from including Blue Agava & Cacao, Grapefruit, Spring Jasmine and Vintage Gardenia.
Get yours from Jo Malone online.

All Thing Original is a fab new online shop that stocks a great selection of unique creative gifts from independent British designers and they cater for all budgets!! They have products from accessories to bags and knitwear to art & design - it’s a great collection.
Whilst browsing through the vast collection I found myself being drawn to this beautiful and delicate Apple Blossom purse priced £49.50. It’s a true representation of everything this site has to offer and it’s just up my street - I love it!! It’s elegantly made with a watercolour blossom motif printed on the front. The blossom also boasts satin stitch with beads that are embellished to the pattern. It also claims to be deceivingly spacious inside which is always a bonus for me - I’m forever trying to unsuccessfully jam everything into my tiny clutches, so the more space the better!!
I would recommend this site to anyone who loves original pieces. It will definitely be first port of call when I need to find a gift for someone special. Simply log on to www.allthingsoriginal.com and have a look for yourself.

Decorating the boudoir is an exciting, yet challenging experience. Great care must be taken with everything, from wall paper to wardrobe.
Why not hang your clothes with some Boudoir Clothes Hangers with Lavender? Not only will you be letting your clothes air, they will stay lavender fresh from the aroma gently released from the hanger. Practical and stylish, you can coordinate your clothes with specific coloured hangers such as blue, amethyst, bronze, black and jade to mention a few. Another benefit … lavender is supposedly a moth repellent which is great for your cashmere!
The boudoir clothes hangers are available at www.holisticsilk.co.uk, priced at £14 so go ahead and ‘store with style’.
