Damages tonight on BBC1

DamagesIt’s now nearing the end of its run, but for those of you yet to experience the excellent drama that is Damages – remember it’s never too late. Damages is a critically acclaimed and award-winning legal drama that follows New York’s toughest litigator Patty Hewes (Glenn Close), in her bid to bring justice against Arthur Frobisher, a wealthy company chief accused of swindling money from his employees, played, in a role against type, by Cheers star Ted Danson.

Recruited to aid Patty in her work is fresh-faced and innocent law graduate Ellen Parsons (Rose Byrne from films Troy and 28 Weeks Later), who soon learns what it takes to compete in the ruthless world of high-profile litigation. The show has earned a strong reputation and loyal following in its 10.35pm Monday night slot on BBC1. So if you’re not ready for bed after the news, try keeping up with all the suspense in Damages.
