I went shopping last week and wore a pair of ridiculously high shoes that began to cripple my feet within the first hour. After I hobbled along for what seemed like a lifetime I headed into New Look to buy a cheap pair of flip flops so I could continue my shopping spree. Bearing this experience in mind you can imagine how thrilled I was this morning to discover a range of fold-up shoes, ideal for the end of a night out when you’re stumbling home or in my case if your shoes are just too uncomfortable to bear.

The shoes are manufactured by Redfoot and come in a whole variety of styles and colours. The image above shows the shoes in action and demonstrates how you can fold the shoes up and pop them into your bag ready for later. I think this idea is absolute genius – if only I’d known sooner!
