What a fab new bag from Topshop. Not only does it look stylish, but it comes with grab handles and a detachable cross body strap so it’s also really practical. Without the body strap it looks cute and girly – the perfect accessory to help dress up an outfit.

The soft gold leather makes the bag look expensive, but it can be picked up for the bargain price of £30 over on the Topshop Website. It looks big enough to fit in all the vital make-up, keys, phone, money etc. with plenty of room to spare – you’ll probably be able to fit the detachable strap in too, so if you have a few too many drinks just add the strap so you don’t lose the bag!

On this weeks episode of How to Look Good Naked, under eye dark circle creams were the focus of the experiment. Hylexin Dark Circle Cream (£95.00), Benefit Eye Con (£21.50), ROC Hydra+ Destressant Eyes (£11.95) and Boots Time Delay (£7.99) were the four products tested by 100 lovely lady volunteers.

Hylexin Dark Circle Cream, the most expensive cream by far came in first scoring 54 points of 100, not great for a £95 product! A close 2nd place went to Benefit Eye Con with 50 points. Boots Time Delay was in at 3rd with 49 points and ROC Hydra+ Destressant Eyes scored just 30 points. Overall there were just 5 points between the £95 cream and the £7.99 one – I know which one I would choose!

Italian scientists are developing a new pill that aims to help people loose weight. When swallowed, the pill turns into a clear blob of jelly-like goo (about the size of a tennis ball) that gives the feeling of fullness due to lack of room in the stomach. The clear gel expands to hold liquid and can soak up 1000 times its weight, it is thought that it will be a similar to a gastric band but obviously no surgery will be needed.

Obesity in the UK is constantly on the rise so the development of a diet pill would be a great invention for future generations and would decrease the number of surgical operations.

Figures show there is an estimated 1 billion overweight adults worldwide, 300 million of whom are classed as obese. The pill is still undergoing many tests to ensure it is utterly safe for consumers, it is not know when or if the pill will be available to those suffering from obesity.

As I mentioned a while ago, I am a huge fan of the Channel 4 series How to Look Good Naked. Each week journalist Dawn Porter experiments with a range of brands to uncover the best beauty treatment in a specific field. This week the girls were testing home micro-dermabrasion kits, the creams included No 7 Microdermabrasion (£9.50), Lancome (£46.00), Philosophy Greatest Love (£20.00) and Renew You Micro-Dermabrasion Face Masque (£1.49).

What is Microdermabrasion? It is a facial skin treatment and technique that helps repair the skin after years of sun exposure and the effects of aging. There are so many creams available it is hard to know which one is the best value for money, Dawn and her experiment with 100 girls concluded with these results.

1st: Lancome - 68 points out of 100.
2nd: Philosophy Greatest Love - 64 points out of 100.
3rd: No 7 Microdermabrasion - 60 points out of 100.
4th: Renew You Micro-dermabrasion Face Masque - 56 points out of 100.

In this particular experiment the most expensive product proved to be the best but only by 4 points. So it is up to you to decide, is it worth spending an extra £36 on something that only scored 8 points more than its rival No 7? I’d personally go for the 2nd place kit - Philosophy Greatest Love for £20.

I struggle with eyeliner and usually just resort to a pencil because I can’t ever apply my liquid liner perfectly. However, I have just found a video over at Video Jug that demonstrates how you should apply it in order to get the best results.

Is it me or does the London 2012 logo look like it was drawn by a five year old? Apparently £400,000 was spent on the deisign but since it was released it has had nothing but criticism. Today I came across a website that is inviting users to submit their own designs with the question - can you do better?

Already they have had some really great ideas submitted, in my opinion they are far better than the official logo and obviously didn’t take as long to create. If you think you can do better than this then send in your design to the London 2012, can you do better? website.

OK so this new digital camera may have caught my eye because it’s pink, but it’s also really practical.

It’s slightly smaller than a credit card and a tiny 6mm deep, so will fit in any pocket without ruining the shape of your outfit. This means you can carry it on you at all times, prepared for those photo moments!

I am a big fan of Irregular choice shoes but have never actually been brave enough to buy a pair for myself. The best design I’ve ever seen were the Tape Measure Shoes I wrote about last year, I thought they were fantastic. I have now found another pair that I think are really stylish called Cortesan Emblem Flower shoes. They are made from pinstripe fabric and have a beautiful embroidered floral design and a lace trim. The sole has a fairytale pattern too.

You would need to wear black, pink, white or green to accompany the shoe design and they would really dress up a plain outfit such as a little black dress. They are available at Schuh for £59.99, not the cheapest of shoes but you’re sure to be the only one wearing them.

Every year when I hear Big Brother is starting I do my best to avoid watching the first few episodes. However, this year I would say I am already completely addicted and I think it is going to be the most entertaining series to date. Last night the girls all had a date with Ziggy and all got to eat a one course meal with him. I thought it was great that he saved Chanelle until last so he could spend the most time with her but I still don’t think she realises how much he likes her.

Did anyone else notice a spot of jealousy in her eyes when Charley came out claiming they had done more than just eaten? I definitely think these two are in for a bit of romance, but what will happen when more lads come in; will Chanelle’s eyes be drawn elsewhere?

I cannot work out whether I like Charley or not, part of me thinks she’s rude, lazy and in love with herself but she’s also really insecure which is why she acts the way she does. I can see some major explosions occurring between her and Emily; I think Emily is the only one that would really stand up to her at the moment.

I’d like to see what would happen if one of the twins was evicted or they got separated in some way, I’m not sure they’d cope on their own but I’m sure big brother will have a twist for us otherwise why else would they have put twins in.

On Channel 4 tonight there will be highlights from yesterday including a heated row between Channelle and Emily about a pair of hair straighteners – looking forward to that one!

How many times have you thrown a kitchen utensil into a drawer, closed it up and then completely forgotten where it is the next time you want to use it? Well I do this on a regular basis which is why I was so thrilled to find these Standz stand-up utensils by Tovolo. I have just found the perfect solution to my love handles that involves very little effort! No matter how hard I work at the gym they never seem to disappear and it annoys me very much. Now I’m not even going to bother going to the gym, I will just slip on this waist nipper and hopefully achieve the perfect hourglass figure.

I have tried on a few pairs of pants that promise to suck you in but my problem area isn’t my bum or thighs, it is my hips. The previous pants therefore did nothing for me and I lost all hope of purchasing an item of clothing that could save me hours on the treadmill. I suppose the only problem with this waist nipper is the outfit you are wearing – it will be great with dresses but not so great with trousers and a top because it might be on display.

The debate as to whether poor little rich girl Paris Hilton should be jailed continues, but now you have the chance to decide with a fashion statement. Paris has pleaded for people to buy a pair of her ‘Free Paris’ panties and wear them on 5th June (the day she goes down) in a show of protest against her imprisonment.

I personally prefer the ‘Jail Paris’ knickers, why should she get away with it just because she’s a celebrity. Any other women who had committed the same offences would be sent to prison, there’s no excuse.

I just found a really cool site that I had to share with you, it is a selection of models and celebrity illustartions that you can dress up in different clothes by clicking and placing them on the body yourself. Above is one I created of Tyra Banks, they also have Mariah Carey, Halle Berry, Ashton Kutcher, Angelina Jolie and loads more. They are known as dress up dolls and all the illustrations are extremely realistic.
