DARE Magazine & Rimmel Magnif'Eyes Mascara
I’m not usually one to bother with new magazines, I normally stick to me good old faithful Cosmopolitan, but something made by buy this months issue of DARE – I’d never heard of it before and wanted to see what I could get for my 45p.
I’m pleased to say I was actually impressed with the articles, advice and gossip – for such a cheap magazine they certainly packed it full with interesting info! This was the launch issue so I’ll be curious to see how much next months issue will be, and if it will gradually become crowded with adverts like all the others.
I’ve even gone out and bought myself the £7 mascara on the cover (Rimmel Magnif’Eyes Mascara) – which is apparently loved by Victoria Beckham; I want to see for myself if the ‘adds serious definition without clumping’ is true or if this magazine shouldn’t be trusted! I’ll let you know when I’ve tried it out …

So I’ve tested this out and I’m pleased to say I’m pretty happy with the results. It doesn’t clog because when you pull the brush out of the mascara container it’s such a tight squeeze that any excess mascara gets left inside the tube. This is quite unusual in my experience but a great idea to prevent the brush clogging. I also found the brush to be so fine that it seperated my lashes well.
I did find it quite wet when I first applied it, but was impressed to get to the end of the day without the mascara smudging. All in all I think this is a fab product for under £7 – I’ve only used it a couple of times so far so I’ve yet to find out if this product lasts long, or if there are any faults I haven’t discovered – I’ll keep you updated!
