Hi, my friend. I live in Brazil, Rio de Janeiro and I heard this song today in my radio, coming to work. I got blown away!! It’s exactly how you described. Plus, I knew that, even if it looked like the 60′s, it was surely a new song. I thought it was Macy Grayt or Anastasia. So funky “black” voice in such a white girl. And the song I heard had also a rapper singing along. Did you also hear this version? Thanks for clearing this up for your friend down the Equador.
