So you’ve got to want to impress your guests pretty bad to spend $85 on ice cube trays – but if you’ve got the dosh why not! A dinner party just won’t be complete now without Gucci shaped ice cubes will it? Hmm I guess these won’t be appearing at any dinner parties I’m likely to be attending soon!
But this has got to be the ultimate ‘cherry on the cake’ – paying enough attention to detail to include Gucci shaped ice cubes. Yet again I feel a huge pang of jealousy for the rich …
Oh to be rich… to lean over from my hot tub and reach for a chilled bottle of champagne and champagne flute from the refrigerator in my bathroom. Yes I seem to be dreaming again, but I guess this is a reality for some people – how I hate them! And it’s not just refrigerator cabinets that now serve as accessories to hot tubs – all sorts of accessories have been bought out, including towel warming cabinets.
Seriously some people must live in a different world – one day I hope to know how it feels! Anyway enough of the jealousy, the Thermospa Refrigerator Cabinet comes with a beautiful Corian top and has adjustable mini legs so it can be adjusted for any spa. The inside of the cabinet is a mini-fridge and connects directly to the spa’s power pack. Available for $1,400 (approx. £740) from Thermospas.
Look how shiny they are! OK so that was a girlie thing to say but you can literally see your reflection in this phone! Not only does it look pretty but it has a screen on the outside which is only displayed when the phone is in use – inspired. The Sony Ericsson Z610i is a 3G clamshell phone, (also known as the Z610 – which is a tad confusing) and has everything you’d expect to find.
A few of its features include Bluetooth, video calling, a web browser and email client, 2 megapixel camera, Memory Stick Micro Support and good MP3 player. Apparently it’s also got a Picture Blog application too – we’ll all be moblogging in no time with this phone.
According to Sony Ericsson, the phone should be available in Q3 2006, but the bad news is they aren’t sure whether this is going to include the UK – what a shame that would be. This shiny little gadget has made quite an impression on me.
Special K have just launched their new cereal Purple Berries which I am definitely looking forward to trying. I have been a keen Special K follower ever since they brought out their red berry and yogurt snack bars that are low in both calories and fat and taste fantastic.
Some say Special K has revolutionised breakfast time with their drop a jean size diet and motivational fitness adverts. I personally have tried the drop a jean size challenge and did notice a difference in the way I looked and felt. See the Special K Website for further info about their diets and yummy products. Anyway enough about me I just wanted to let you know about their new cereal, so try it and tell me what you think!
This years Ex-factor has just started and has made me think about what last years contestants are up to these days. Obviously we still hear of winner Shayne Ward and finalists Andy and Journey South but many of the others have now been forgotten. The person who impressed me the most was Maria Lawson and I couldn’t believe it when Louis Walsh chose the Conway Sisters to stay. The sad thing is that if she had a better suited song on her last evening I think she probably would have sailed through to the final.
It’s not all bad news for Maria though; she was snapped up for a record deal with a branch of SONY BMG and released her debut single entitled ‘Sleepwalking’ on 14th August 2006. Her first album is due for release on 28th August – not bad for someone who got knocked out in the fifth round. Her single is available to buy via Amazon for as little as £3.99.
Ever got bored of staring at the same photo on the mantelpiece? I know I have. Well suffer no more at the site of your embarrassing childhood memories, these Digital Photo Frames allow you to display dynamic slideshows and images – at last, multiple images to cringe at.
Seriously though, I like the concept. You just plug in your camera (or computer) into the frame via a USB connection and then download images which will slide from one picture to the next (with an adjustable time from 15 seconds to several hours). You can even add sound!
The standard (5” x 7”) frame can hold 50 images and the larger frame (10” x 8”) can hold 80. These are obviously more expensive than ordinary photo frames, but whether I could justify spending £259 on the small one or £399 on the large one I haven’t quite decided.
I literally didn’t believe my eyes when I watched this video. Entitled “Quick Change Artists”, the title really doesn’t lie! Performing on America’s Got Talent, these two artists change clothes before your very eyes in a few seconds. I still can’t work out how they achieved it, even after watching the video over and over again!
Watch Brandy’s face during the performance – I know exactly how she felt!
This invention is not up there with sliced bread or anything, but it is a good idea. I know personally I’ve had experiences at the gym where my headphones have just been in the way while I’ve been running on the treadmill (admittedly this doesn’t happen very often anymore as I became lazy and quit the gym) but I really think Sumajin’s Smartwrap would have come in handy.
I guess this is for people who become easily frustrated and impatient with things like wires (definitely me) and also for those who like to keep their stuff organised neatly (not me). For $5.00 I think I may just purchase my own Smartwrap (if I ever choose to join the gym again that is).
I came across this futuristic looking gadget on iwantoneofthose.com and was instantly mesmerised by how ultramodern I’d look with one of my own. Imagine pulling out your projector keyboard in the pub and casually using it as though it was just a mobile – as the tag line on the website says “stuff you don’t need… but you really really want” – so true.
This i.Tech Virtual Keyboard is Bluetooth enabled and uses infrared to project a keyboard onto your desktop, and then transfers your keystrokes via wireless networking to your PDA, Pocket PC or smart phone – sounds far too good to be true. But what shocked me most was the price. This gadget is currently selling for £119.00 – for something so unique I would have thought it would be far more expensive.
As soon as I saw this I immediately fell in love with it. OK so a bit on the pricey side (at approx. £799) but this is pretty cheap for Chloe bags, which are usually priced at around £1700. When I think of it like that, I somehow now think it’s a bit of a bargain!
But it is beautiful – the detail is unbelievable (I guess you really do get what you pay for). I love the size, the colour, the padlock accessory, the handles, the two slit style pockets, the C shaped buckle detail – I could go on for hours. But I won’t. It’s available from Net-A-Porter in four different colours (which are all priced differently). The one shown in here is currently £794.01 and demand is so high that sales are restricted to one per customer!
