World Trade Center Movie
It doesn’t feel right that there’s a movie about 9/11 – I don’t know if it will ever feel right, but it’s out in the US today and is being released in the UK on 29th September this year. The film concentrates on two New York police officers (John McLoughlin and Will Jimeno) who are stuck in the rubble of the decimated World Trade Center towers. For 12 hours they keep each other alive by talking about their hopes and dreams, disappointments and their lives on the force. The ads for the movie describe it as “a true story of courage and survival”, but it still doesn’t feel right – is it just me?
The films directed by Oliver Stone and stars Nicolas Cage as John McLoughlin.
